The Political Agenda

On May 28, 2021, the Biden administration released its budget for fiscal year (FY) 2022. The tax proposals, including the Made in America Tax Plan and the American Families Plan are described in the “General Explanations of the Administration’s Fiscal Year 2022 Revenue Proposals”— aka the “Green Book”—and provide more detail on Biden’s tax priorities. Our panel discussion will focus on what’s next in the legislative process, revenue estimates, design choices, effective dates, and how these will impact the banking industry.
