Rethinking the role of reporting

Webcast overview:

KPMG’s Internal Audit (IA) Reimagined initiative is focused on a more dynamic approach to IA that is data driven and agile-inspired, encompassing innovation across the entire IA function. This initiative focuses on reimagining all aspects of an IA project life cycle, especially reporting. Valuable time is utilized in the internal audit cycle with endless back and forth on reporting, rating of issues and areas, and discussion over management responses. Often times, the value of the report has been lost once it is issued to the auditee. How can we more effectively communicate results to drive faster delivery, responses and actions from management?

The webcast will focus on the following:

  1. Identifying roadblocks to effective reporting
  2. Visualizing tools and techniques to overcome those roadblocks
  3. Exploring how these tools and techniques can be implemented in IA departments today and in the future
  4. Reviewing real examples that demonstrate the application and outcomes of project level reporting
