“Modern delivery” is a term that refers to unifying methodologies to automate and improve the solution build and release process – think cloud, micro services, agile, DevOps, Design Thinking, Product Management etc. – with methodologies that help ensure the right solutions are being built in the right way to deliver optimum value to customers at the pace of their expectations.
This unified approach delivers two types of value to enterprises. First, it allows them to develop and deploy software at the speed of their customers’ expectations, while still maintaining and improving quality and safety. Second, its process improvement and consistency through automated processes and controls allow it to work whether it’s being employed by in-house resources like developers, designers, and product owners, or outsourcing partners or other third-party vendors.
