14th Annual KPMG Real Estate Symposium in Chicago

Our sessions will include:

Economic update – Diane Swonk, KPMG Economist, will share insights into key macroeconomic trends and views on our economic outlook.

Tax Legislation – John Gimigliano, KPMG’s principal in charge of the Federal Legislative and Regulatory Services Group of Washington National Tax, will discuss tax legislation.

Financial Reporting Trade – KPMG real estate assurance professionals will present an executive summary of salient financial reporting updates impacting the real estate industry. This will be followed by a participant panel, including Liz Bauer, SVP of Finance at Hyatt, Chris Drula, SVP, Financial Standards at Nareit, Jamie Kingsley, Data Governance and Reporting Standards Director at NCREIF and Greg Liebbe, SVP and Chief Accounting Officer, Ventas, Inc. to further discuss hot topics, financial reporting, and ESG trends.

Real Estate Trends – Greg Williams, national leader of KPMG’s BCRE group, will provide insights on the U.S. real estate industry, including the impact of foreign capital on markets and transactions.

No advance preparation or prerequisite is required for this instructor-led program. You may qualify for four continuing professional education credits. You must be present to be eligible for CPE credits.
