KPMG Insurance Industry Conference 2021

To say the industry has undergone significant changes as a result of the pandemic is an understatement. However, in many ways, the pandemic served to accelerate changes that were already underway. Companies were already modernizing their operations to better meet evolving customer needs and reduce the cost of their services, engaging in M&A activity to shed non-core operations, add scale and acquire new capabilities, and revisiting products and services to better address customer risk in the new reality. The pandemic showed us that we can move effectively with great speed and, hopefully, has given us the confidence to do more of that in the future. Now, as we face the recovery, we are asking “What happens now?”, which is the theme of this year’s conference. We will discuss scenarios for the future, opportunities in recovery and priorities such as ESG, Talent and Culture, and Tax Reform.

Whatever uncertainties we face, our industry has already proved, time and again, that we can prepare for the unexpected, withstand disruption, and prosper. I hope that you are able to join us to hear about these trends, engage with your peers and share your thoughts on where you believe the industry is headed.

Now in its 33rd year, the KPMG Insurance Industry Conference attracts more than 600 leading industry professionals each year to share ideas and gain insights on the current issues and trends, emerging challenges, and the latest innovations that will impact the insurance industry. The conference offers a rich, candid exchanges of views among industry leaders.
