The SBA and Treasury issued a statement indicating the SBA will disclose, for any Paycheck Protection Program loan of $150,000 or more:

  • Business name
  • Address
  • Zip code
  • NAICS code
  • Business type
  • Demographic data
  • Non-profit information
  • Jobs supported.

For each borrower, SBA will also disclose the loan amount within the relevant range:

  • $150,000 - $350,000
  • $350,000 - $1 million
  • $1 million - $2 million
  • $2 million - $5 million
  • $5 million - $10 million.

Additional guidance is anticipated to be released in order to clarify how and when the SBA will issue this loan-level data. The agencies state these categories account for nearly 75 percent of the loan dollars approved.

For loan amounts below $150,000, the SBA will release totals aggregated by zip code, by industry, by business type, and by various demographic categories.

As of June 20, 2020, SBA reports that more than 4.6 million PPP loans have been approved totaling approximately $515 billion. Slightly more than 4 million of these loans fall below the $150,000 threshold.
