I am a Lead Specialist and currently live in a northern metro county of Atlanta near the foothills of the Georgia mountains. The pace is great for my family of three. I grew up on a farm in Oklahoma and met my husband in between college semesters. I love to travel and experience new adventures. Shortly after we were married, we moved to New York City for a couple of years. Then relocated to Baltimore for five years when I worked in accounting. Then opportunity knocked and we moved to Atlanta. Jogging was my hobby and ran numerous 5Ks, 10Ks, a few half marathons, and even a sprint triathlon. Currently, I don’t jog anymore, but rather take joy in helping my community, enjoying movies, and enhancing my Native American artistic skills.
My expertise is in the Business Resilience industry. I am a Master Business Continuity Professional and enjoy this field as it overlaps with cyber security. I work with a variety of domestic and international organizations to develop, enhance, and/or assess their Business Resilience programs (i.e., Emergency Response, Crisis Management, Disaster Recovery / Technology Resilience, and Business Continuity).
I have been with KPMG for over 16 years. One of our greatest strengths is that we have a collaborative environment. I remember a client once stated that our team seemed so cohesive and that we got along so well. It was the second day of the engagement and it was the first time the members had worked together. That speaks volumes about our leadership, diversity, skills, expertise, and teamwork.
