The finance function can use cloud as an opportunity to reinvent itself.
Results of a global survey show that moving HR and finance operations technology to the cloud leads not just to cost savings, but also to a business transformation that can position finance to be hyper-agile, scalable, and able to deliver deep insights in a business-partnering role.
Commissioned by Oracle and conducted by MIT Technology Review Custom, the survey showed that 96% of respondents from finance say the move to the cloud met their expectations, exceeded their expectations, or strongly exceeded their expectations.
Interestingly, C-level respondents ranked many benefits of cloud solutions higher than cost savings.
MIT Technology Review Custom explores these benefits with Richard Beacham, Principal, KPMG Advisory Financial Management, in a new paper called Finance in the cloud: Rediscovering the power in numbers. Read the paper now to discover how the cloud can deliver much more than just cost savings to finance organizations.
