A point of view on advance notice of proposed rule making
The Federal Reserve Board (FRB), the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC), and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) are in an advance notice of proposed rulemaking (ANPR) related to enhanced cyber risk management standards. The proposed rule aims to establish enhanced cyber risk management standards to increase the operational resilience of financial entities and reduce the impact of a cyber attack on the financial system.
